The barge was originally built back in the 1930s and has since undergone numerous restorations to make it the luxurious vessel that never fails to blow away its guests. Outside you can unwind in the heated spa pool, or enjoy a mouth-watering alfresco lunch prepared by your onboard master chef as you get admiring glances from passers-by. Public spaces include a saloon, dining area and a sun deck with loungers and hot tub. The ship also features a small exercise room with treadmill and bike, and an elevator.
SPLIT YOUR TIME
A late afternoon cruise is the perfect time to laze in the hot tub. Upper deck's dining area is part of the saloon (bar lounge) with stylish furnishings and large picture windows. Modern amenities include a sundeck spa pool, underfloor heating, modern en-suite bathrooms in the 4 staterooms (cabin size 200 ft2 / 19 m2). The ship has 4 double cabins (for up to 8 passengers) plus separate crew quarters housing the crew of 5 (master chef, two housekeepers/waiters, deckhand/tour guide and Captain-Pilot).
Outside, two forward sun decks—an upper and a lower—feature a hot tub and lounge chairs for relaxing, as well as a table ready to set the entire passenger complement for an al fresco meal. Lunch was served as we cruised and as the weather was a tad breezy we dined in the dining area of the saloon. A light and delicious lunch was served and shortly afterwards we arrived in Hurley for another excursion. The four-person crew is made up of a skipper, chef and hostess and tour guide.
